The Manhattan Beach Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and we rely on our membership to prove that our town’s history is worth preserving - it also helps to keep the lights on. Membership fees go toward new displays at the Little Red House in Polliwog Park, maintaining and preserving the photos and memorabilia we get to share online, and fund much-needed updates to the cottage museum.
All members receive our quarterly newsletter free of charge — electronically or through traditional mail — that's full of interesting tidbits about the historical society and its goings-on. We also offer members 10% most purchases at our museum and invitations to special events.

This is an exciting time to be a part of the Manhattan Beach Historical Society as we grow, and we would love for you to join us.

We are grateful to our SUPPORTERS and SPONSORS for your exceptional donations to the preservation of Manhattan Beach's history. To show our appreciation, you are eligible for both books by former Historical Society President Bonnie Beckerson as well as additional books by town historian Jan Dennis depending on your sponsorship.
Please let us know if you would like to pick it up or have it mailed (and to what address). Those in Manhattan Beach can also have it dropped off (and save on shipping).

We would also like to thank you on our website's sponsorship page.
